On October 30th, Trinity Community Ministries made history by hosting it’s first-ever Virtual Honorary Board Breakfast. Each year in both the Spring and the Fall we host a celebratory breakfast that brings together our Honorary Board and extended community of supporters and volunteers. This group, vital to the long-term sustainability of our overall mission to support the men of Trinity House reclaim their lives, has gone the extra mile in supporting us through the current global pandemic.
During this pandemic, we saw the world scatter to find food and cleaning supplies.
At Trinity Community Ministries we saw our supporters, volunteers, alumni and staff rally to the call for supplies and donations to keep our clients sheltered and safe. We saw our Honorary Board members come together to purchase a large flat screen and webcam which enabled Zoom technology thereby connecting our clients for bible study and T.E.A.M. Dinners.
Every year the Honorary Board Breakfast serves as a celebration of the men and women who have helped our program since our opening in 1981. We normally gather in person and fellowship over breakfast and celebrate our success as a program but in the midst of Covid-19, we came together virtually to celebrate our success.
