Trinity Table

Trinity Table is the oldest, large-scale, Sunday-only soup kitchen in metro Atlanta. Located at Trinity United Methodist Church in downtown Atlanta, we established a program that gives volunteers from local churches and organizations an outlet to express their compassion through service to the poor. Trinity Table begins serving at 12:30 PM. On any given Sunday, we serve over 300 people who come to our table for food to sustain them and kind words to help them during their current state.

Trinity Table serves its homeless guests in four half-hour stages throughout the afternoon. Volunteers are given the opportunity to not only offer food, but spiritual support as well. The guests sit eight (8) to a table while two volunteers serve bowls of soup, baskets of bread, butter and crackers, or hot meals and refreshing beverages. Guests are given the opportunity to offer a blessing themselves or receive one from the volunteers.

If you are interested in volunteering with us, please feel free to contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Barbara Bishop, via phone at (404) 577-6651 or via e-mail at BarbaraB@tcmatlanta.org. We would be more than thrilled to have you join us!
