Why does TCM need you? On any given night in metro Atlanta, there are approximately 7,000 people who are homeless, according to the 2003 Metro Atlanta Tri-Jurisdictional Collaborative Homeless Census and Survey. It is estimated that more than 16,600 people spent some portion of 2003 homeless.

As pervasive as the challenge continues to be, it has been proven that collaborative efforts are effective in providing alternatives to homelessness to those who wish to receive it. Since 1981, Trinity Community Ministries has been one of the leading catalysts in providing such alternatives. Through its network of volunteers, service providers, and generous benefactors, TCM’s programs such as Trinity Table and Trinity House-Big Bethel continue to fill a diverse need for temporary and transitional support. As the need steadily increases, TCM remains in a unique position of providing transformational opportunities for both those who are homeless and for volunteers. Our programs are almost completely supported by volunteers and 91% of our funding comes from monetary and in-kind donations. Without our volunteers and financial supporters, we could never do what we do.
