Board of Directors

Trinity Community Ministries’ governing Board of Directors consists of 18 volunteers from a diverse population of professionals. The Board, which meets six times a year, consists of seven (7) committees: Finance, Development, Nominating/Personnel, Legal, and one for each program. The Executive Committee meets on an as-needed basis. The Board of Directors support the organization 100% financially as well as volunteer within the programs of TCM.

Characteristics of a Trinity Community Ministries Board Member:

  • Team player

  • Possess expertise needed to further the work of Trinity Community Ministries
  • Care and commitment to those who Trinity Community Ministries serves
  • Finds joy in service

Board Member Responsibilities

The basic duties that all Trinity Community Ministries Board Members must be willing to perform include:

  • Believe in the Trinity Community Ministries Mission.
  • Be an advocate for Trinity Community Ministries in the community.
  • Attend bi-monthly meetings of the full Board beginning in July.
  • Join and participate in the work of one standing committee of the Board or
    a special ad hoc committee created as necessary.
  • Support Trinity Community Ministries financially in 2 ways:
    • Personal gift – No amount is specified but it should be personally significant.
    • Fundraising – Use personal influence, contacts and networks to promote the fiscal well-being of Trinity Community Ministries.
  • Attend at least one Trinity Table or Trinity House-Big Bethel function each year and
    make every effort to take part in special events that Trinity Community Ministries sponsors.
  • Contribute a special skill or area of expertise to the work of Trinity Community Ministries.
